Employee Self Serve - Stampede Parade (YYYY) - Leave/Time Off

This year’s Calgary Stampede kicks off on Friday, July 5, with the Stampede Parade. As per SAIT tradition, the campus will be closed until 1 pm on July 5 so employees can attend the parade.

The purpose of this time off is to allow employees to attend and support the morning event without using their leave time. However, if an employee plans to take more than just the morning off on July 5, they must request the entire day off (paid or unpaid) following the standard procedure for their employee group.

If an employee wants to take the entire day off, it will be considered a full Flex or Vacation day (depending on employee group). You can find the SAIT procedure on Time Off to Attend the Calgary Stampede Parade here.
