Hourly Hiring Process
1. Create Job in Lever & Post (Talent Advisor)
The job is created in Lever based on the details in the job request with any relevant qualifying questions / automation workflows added and posted for the duration requested.
2. Review Applicants (Hiring Manager)
Candidates can be reviewed in Lever while the posting is live with the best candidates shortlisted.
3. Phone Screens & Interviews (Hiring Manager)
Hiring Manager schedules and conducts interviews with candidates via phone screens, remote or in-person interviews with feedback entered into Lever. Talent Advisor can assist with interview content and any guidance needed on interview best practice. View online guidance here.
4. Self Disclosure (& VSS - if applicable) (Talent Advisor)
Talent Advisor will provide a Self-Disclosure to the selected candidate, (if not previously completed). If required, a Vulnerable Sector Search will also be provided.
5. Verbal Offer (Hiring Manager)
Hiring Manager contacts candidate with offer including rate, (in accordance with relevant salary schedule), and start date.
6. Written Offer & Hiring Documents (Talent Advisor)
Sent via email with onboarding documents, (Tax, Direct Deposit & Emergency Contact forms). Reviewed when completed and returned for correction if needed.
7. EPAF Processing (Talent Advisor)
Talent Advisor provides pay documents to Workforce Coordinator. An Employee ID is generated if a new hire and EPAF created. Once the EPAF is applied by the Workforce Coordinator, the Hiring Manager will receive an email notification with the details needed to submit a SAAF.
8. Close Job & On-Board (Talent Advisor & Hiring Manager)
TA closes job in Lever & notifies unsuccessful candidates. HM to contact hired candidate with welcome, first day details and follows relevant onboarding checklist to ensure a good employee experience.
