Adding a dependent to Health and Dental

If you:

experienced a life event (marriage, birth of child)
registered accidentally as a 'single' plan when hired
did not enroll at all and were defaulted to 'single' and now need to add your family members to your coverage

Here is the process on how to update your Manulife account from 'Single' to 'Family Coverage'.

Please go to your Manulife account. Once logged in, go to "My Account", then to My Personal Information - My family, then click Update. It should show you this screen.

If this was not completed upon your hiring enrollment/these changes or are not within 31 days of the life event (marriage, birth of child), you will be prompted to complete an 'Evidence of Insurability' form for the dependents. Essentially, you need to 'apply' to add them to your coverage. If it is within 31 days of the life event, then no form needs to be completed.
