Thanks for your email. The balance on your Spending account is allocated every July 1 and expires on June 30 the following year. Thank you for reaching out to us. The spending account you currently have will roll over automatically into the new benefit year unless you change it. If you wish to keep the same account, no action is needed. You can use the open enrolment period in the Spring of each year to change your selection for the new benefit year effective July 1. (If you are a new employee and you did not make a spending account selection when you were invited to enroll in your benefits, then you will have been given a Health Care Spending Account by default.  For more information, please go to SAITNOW. If you incur an expense that you want paid from your Spending Account but there is insufficient balance remaining, we have a plan design whereby you can 'carry forward' a claim into the next benefit year.
